Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her portrayals as the main character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Her work is also well-known due to her film roles in Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', 'True crime and 1408'. McCormack has no connection to her family. McCormack's parents are a psychologist and owner of an ice cream parlor. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in comparative arts. In her early twenties, her stage career started by performing in "Amahl, as well as the Night Visitors", a holiday opera. She continued performing in the theatre, and eventually landed roles that were on small screens and big. McCormack is today regarded as one Hollywood's most versatile performers. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three children.
